Description

This Olympia is probably one of the most beautiful bicycles from the Milanese brand which was founded in 1893.

The model is called Olympia Super Competizione, which was the high-end model from the late 80s. It has a chrome-plated head tube, which was also engraved with great detail. Brake and shift cables are routed in the tubes - this was very time-consuming and should provide better performance due to lower air resistance.

The frame was made from the highest quality Columbus SLX tubes and the fork from Columbus Air. Mounted is a 100% complete, original and time correct C-Record group of the second generation from 1988 including the coveted Delta brakes.

Olympic engravings are not only found on the stem but also on the chainring and even on the crank arm. The wafer-thin paint is strongly reminiscent of a Cromovelato paint - That is a completely chrome-plated frame which has been painted with a sheer, translucent lacquer layer. This gives this paint its special shine.
