Description
This classic from Belgium is in almost new condition and is certainly one of the most beautiful bikes from the collection.
Paganini was the bike brand of one of the most famous and first class bike shops in Belgium: Plum founded by Plum Ghent. The brand Paganini arise when Italian steel and its frames dominated the market. For this reason, Plum had steel frames manufactured in Italy by none other than Billato in order to sell them under the name Paganini in Belgium. Billato was a very well-known frame builder from Italy, who produced frames for prestigious brands such as Vicini, Legnano, Coppi, Bianchi, Scapin or Berma.
This extremely classic and simple racing bike shines with a lot of chrome and its countless engravings. Billato rarely saved on engravings on his frames - just like this frame. The decals with their curved letters, which should reflect the brand logo, are very nice to look at.
The special paint is called Cromovelato - that's the name of a completely chrome-plated frame which was painted with a sheer, translucent layer of paint. This gives this paint its special shine.
The racing bike is equipped with a 100% complete Campagnolo Super Record group with engraved chainring, engraved 3TTT Criterium stem, Concor saddle, GP4 rims and Wolber tires.
