Description

Vicini was a small bike shop in Cesena, which opened its doors in 1942 from Mario Vicini. Mario was once a teammate of Cino Cinelli and Giuseppe Olmo - two legendary racing cyclists from the interwar period. Vicini didn't build many frames, but the brand still boasts worldwide fame.

This racing bike is a good example of the excellently manufactured frames - peppered with beautiful details and a wonderful overall look. Even the golden Vicini lettering is not glued on, but varnished with stencils.

The frame has dozens of engravings, a chrome-plated head tube and a great paint job. This special paint is called Cromovelato - that's the name of a completely chrome-plated frame that has been painted with a sheer layer of translucent paint. This gives this paint its special shine.

The road bike is equipped with a 100% complete Campagnolo Super Record group with engraved chainring, engraved 3TTT stem, Concor saddle, FIR rims and Vittoria tires.
